Silver Lake Electric Bikes is a tour and rental company, specializing in full-service guided e-bike tours and hiking adventures. All our e-bicycles are designed and built especially for our specific needs.

Hollywood Sign E-Bike Ride is a BEGINNER-INTERMEDIATE ride. We will be doing some steep climbs on the e-bikes, and afterwards some long descents.

Griffith Park East / Griffith Observatory E-Bike Ride is a BEGINNER level ride. It takes place on a wide paved road, mostly reserved for bike and ped traffic. It is partially shaded.

Silver Lake Stair Hike is a BEGINNER-INTERMEDIATE hike. It takes place entirely in the city, though some of the staircases can be somewhat long.

Griffith Park Hike is an INTERMEDIATE hike. In temperate weather its only challenge is some steep grades. In temperatures above 90° it becomes a short but difficult hike.

E-Bike Ride through Burbank & Glendale Mountains is an INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED ride. While there is no technical terrain, the steep grades and remote terrain can pose a challenge to some riders.

Mount Wilson Summit Adventure is an ADVANCED activity. We will summit Mt. Wilson with 5,300 ft of elevation gain, and then take a backcountry trail down to descend.

You can bring children aged 16+ on the guided e-bike rides. The hikes are open to all ages.

No, we have no accommodation for pets.

Yes, all guests must fill out a liability waiver.

Cancel for full refund up to 24 hours before the booked activity’s start time.

The tour will depart except in the event of a complete and sustained downpour. The bikes are waterproof, and the scenery is especially amazing after the rain (which is almost always short-lived in our Mediterranean climate).

You sure can. Talk to your guide after the ride and we can see if we have one for you.

Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a sweater or jacket. In the afternoons, the descent from the Hollywood Sign will be chilly.

Each guest will receive a safety debriefing at the beginning of the ride, and our expert guides will make sure you’re comfortable before departure. Once you’re riding, we’ve connected the safest streets, bike paths, and lanes to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
